GRUND WINS SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP IN PLAYOFF; SCULLY WIN'S LADIES

GRUND WINS SENIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP IN PLAYOFF; SCULLY WIN'S LADIES
Saturday Peddie held it's annual Senior Club Championship for men & women members 50 years old and older.
In the Men's division, Gary Grund and Joe Pozniak tied in regulation with 32 Stableford points. Grund hit a short wedge to a tough back pin on hole #2 to 5 feet and sank the putt for birdie to claim the title.
In the ladies division, Dorie Scully scored 22 Stableford points to lead all women players. All in all there were 5 men's and 3 ladies champions crowned today on a warm cloudy day where we were fortunate to beat the late day thunderstorms. One of the other highlights of the day was Donald Cripps who shot 78 to beat his age by 5 strokes and win the 80 and over division!
Congratulations to all the winners!
